Last week, from September 16th-19th, I had the privilege of attending Salesforce’s annual flagship conference, Dreamforce 2024, in San Francisco, California. The event brought together nearly 50,000 professionals, thought leaders, and industry experts from around the world to explore the latest innovations, trends, and best practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.

I was fortunate to participate in several activities throughout the week including hosting a speaking session on Why Admins Need to Care About Data Cloud, hosting an executive RCG and MFG roundtable, attending the many AllCloud led events and meeting with so many customers, prospects and Salesforce teams.

Attending this conference not only enhanced my understanding of the evolving Salesforce landscape but also provided valuable insights into how AllCloud can help bring these innovations to our customers.

  • Data Cloud enhancements: New additions include native processing for video and audio formats, 200+ pre-built connectors, and sub-second real-time capabilities for data ingestion and activation, underpinning the quality of AI in Agentforce.
  • Addressing the AI skills Gap: Salesforce offers free premium instructor-led courses and AI certifications through 2025, along with investments in AI centers and upskilling initiatives.
  • Empowering Slack with AI: Agentforce brings new AI-powered features to Slack, including agents in channels, third-party AI integrations, Salesforce channels, and improved search and automation capabilities.
