Salesforce Practice Director, Technical Team

About The Position

As a Practice Director, Technical Team at AllCloud, you will be responsible for growing and developing our onshore and offshore technical teams. You will foster a culture of continuous learning that develops and hones the technical and consulting skills required to deliver creative solutions on the Salesforce platform built to optimize user experience, scalability, and performance. You will operate in a consulting advisory role with our clients to inform a road-map that leverages the breadth of the Salesforce platform to transform business operations. 

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities

○    Work breakdown is 10% Sales Support, 40% Technical Team Lead, 50% Solution/Project Delivery

○     Support sales team during complex sales cycles. Including but not limited to:

  •  Participate in weekly sales collaboration calls to support the sales process
  • As needed, participate in prospect discovery calls
  • Support sales team in authoring SOWs


○   Manage and mentor Technical Team, including but not limited to:

  • Develop team processes and standardized project methodology to ensure client satisfaction and project success across the Salesforce NA practice
  • Coach, mentor, and support the Technical Architects and Developers communicating effectively, managing conflict amongst team members, identifying and removing impediments, and applying self-organization and shared leadership with the team
  • Supporting team and clients on all project activities: requirements gathering, scoping, solution definition, implementation, and testing
  • Training and on-boarding new team members
  • Acting as an escalation point for client issues as well as internal needs


○   Delivering projects as a Technical/Platform Architect, including but not limited to:

  • Liaison with the sales teams to ensure successful project hand-off for execution of contracted services
  • Advise clients on their overall enterprise architecture and road-map including technology, data, security and integration
  • Facilitate technical business process review workshops and perform detailed technical analysis of client business requirements
  • Create project deliverables, such as technical business requirements, technical solution design, functional specifications, user stories, and report of findings
  • Develop solutions to technical business requirements using Salesforce and Force.com platform capabilities, including, but not limited to, developing Apex triggers, VisualForce pages, and Lightning Web Components
  • Develop solutions for technical systems integration between Salesforce and external systems using SOAP and REST API capabilities as well as third-party ETL tools
  •  Driving the on-time, on-budget, high quality delivery of salesforce.com solution implementations

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing onshore and offshore technical teams
  • 5+ years as a Technical Architect, Integration Consultant, or Senior Developer for mid- to large-sized organizations
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools


Certifications Preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Salesforce Developer certification
  • Salesforce Advanced Developer certification a plus
  • Salesforce Technical Architect certification a plus
