FinOps Team Lead

About The Position

AllCloud is looking for a FinOps Team Lead,  as such, you will support existing customers in their cloud journey by working with different departments in the company as well as helping customers optimize their cloud costs. We are looking for a FinOps Business Analyst Lead. This exciting position plays a key role in delivering cloud cost optimization services and ensuring that customers receive maximum value from this service.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the AllCloud FinOps team.
  • Lead FinOps processes with cloud customers, focusing on cost optimization
  • Implement FinOps best practices and methodologies.
  • Serve as a focal point for cloud customers throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, training, and growth.
  • Take part in the company's FinOps methodology, tools, and Automations, and support internal teams in FinOps efforts, and opportunities.
  • Create metrics, reports, and optimization plans for financial excellence in the cloud.
  • Maintain long-lasting relationships with customers Identify customers who aren't maximizing their use of product/service to help them succeed
  • Be proactive and on the lookout for initiatives driving customers and AllCloud’s growth.
  • Present and give demos of AllCloud’s Reseller Programs and tools
  • Work with DevOps teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Keep sales team up to date on customer status for renewal/expansion opportunities
  • Create customized cost reports


Requirements

  • At least 3+ years experience as a FinOps Manager, Business/Financial/Cloud Analyst, or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of cloud costs and proven experience with cost optimization in AWS, GCP.
  • Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.
  • Agile and adaptable approach to creating a new work process and easily acclimating to a rapidly changing business.
  • Must take ownership and be proactive in both internal and external initiatives
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Experience in a customer-facing role - Priority
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
  • Good level of Written and Spoken English - Must
  • FinOps certification preferred - advantage 
  • Cloud experience – Material advantage
